CLIP showroom officially opens

We're excited to announce that the CLIP showroom was officially opened on Saturday 3 March 2018. The formal cutting of the ribbon was performed by Jurat David Hodgetts and Mr David Marquand. The event was attended by the Bailiff Sir Richard Collas, Guernsey Prison Governor David Matthews and his staff, CLIP chairman Ian Stokes and the CLIP board members along with a number of very enthusiastic supporters.

The new showroom is positioned just outside the perimeter of the the prison and is packed with items that have either been grown or manufactured by prisoners and are available for the island community to buy. Income generated from these items will be ploughed back into CLIP funds for the purpose of extending the educational programme within the prison. In its endeavours to reduce re-offending, CLIP believes that this can only be of long-term benefit to the island.

You are warmly invited to pay the showroom a visit, you'll find it just outside the perimeter fencing near the entrance to the prison.
